One of the main food-related mods you can download is TheFoodGroup's Custom Food Interactions, a requirement for most of your recipe CC packs.
After installing this mod, you will notice that you now have a custom food option wherever you have regular interactions with food.
You can cook custom food on the stove, feed your kid custom food, and even cook vampire-friendly food.
This makes it easier to find all your shiny new recipes, and allows your Sim to enjoy the custom treats you've painstakingly sourced for them.
13Personalized drink interactions
And why stop at custom food when you could upgrade this simulator by installing TheFoodGroup's custom drink interactions?
Fancy an apricot bellini? A pink lady?
Maybe some cocoa with marshmallows, perhaps?
Custom drink interactions can make it easier for your Sim to have a little flavor in a cup anywhere drinks are normally available.
If you've been using mods for a while, you might know this mod as IceMunMun Custom Drink Interactions.
This is the updated version maintained by another group after IceMunMun withdrew the project.

Lately I've been busy with work and other projects, so I've had to rely on my favorite nearby restaurants to support me through their delivery services.
Just as I can increase my time by not cooking my own meals, your Sims should be able to enjoy the wonders of ordering meals.
Now, thanks to LittleMsSam's Food Delivery Service mod, they can.
Where originally they could only order pizza, now your Sims haveincredible culinary varietyOn hand 24 hours a day.
You can order individual, family or group size according to your needs. And delivery only costs them 25 simoleons, plus the cost of preparing the food.
11grandma's cookbook
If you're interested in easy-to-use mods, Granny's Cookbook from creator Littlebowbub won't disappoint.
You just add a cookbook decoration that you can place wherever you see fit.
You can then interact with it and choose from a variety of recipes divided into cold drinks, hot drinks, fast food, and grandma's recipes.
These recipes range from simple things like Chicken Meatball Soup to experimental dishes like Coconut Bread Beef Patty or Mango Thai Sticky Rice.
Whether you want a snack, drink, or larger meal, simply select a recipe and your Sim will take care of the rest.
And hopefully not burn down the house.
10drinkable hot drinks
The creator AroundTheSims usually focuses on visual enhancements and decorative CC for The Sims 4.
These beautifully sculpted hot drinks started out as decorations before the creator had the bright idea to turn them into functional drinks as well.
This pack contains all kinds of hot drinks with a unique look to keep you warm and stylish on a rainy day. Or just invite your friends over and have a friendly chat over steaming drinks.
It even includes some lesser-known multicultural options like Japanese tea and yerba mate for our Argentinian and Syrian friends.

AroundTheSims continues the series of repurposed decorative drinks with another mod: Drinkable Alcoholic Drinks.
This expands the aesthetic possibilities of The Sims 4 to better reflect the realities of drinking in the 21st century.
It includes several staples from bartenders around the world, like the mai thai and margarita, as well as domestic classics like Bailey's on the rocks.
Each of these iconic drinks will have a different effect on your Sim, so it's fun to get them drunk and see what happens.
And of course, drink responsibly!
8.McDonald's Custom Food and Drinks
If you like to see McDonald's in games, you'll have a lot of fun with AroundTheSims McDonald's Custom Food & Drinks.
These beautifully sculpted colorful treats include desserts, fries, chicken nuggets and burgers in bright red and yellow wrappers with gold bows.
That's a lot of variety to experience in one session. So you'll probably be ordering at McDonald's for a while.

7.Ask if you want to cook/bake/grill/mix drinks
We all know someone who has never had to lift a finger to prepare their own food. You are a fact of life!
And they should be in The Sims 4 too, if we aspire to a certain level of realism.
This simple LittleMsSam mod allows you to ask other Sims, including NPCs, to take care of your cooking needs by interacting with the same devices you would normally use.
This is great for the lazy Sim who never leaves their room and any butler/maid situation you want to set up.
Just remember that the Sim needs to know the recipe before they can cook something for you.
6.Don't wash the dishes where you're mad pooping
One of the most common complaints and occasional memes regarding The Sims 4 has to be the fact that Sims seem to like to wash dishes in somewhat... unusual places.including the bathroom.
This has a lot to do with the fact that the AI only sees bathroom and kitchen sinks as "basins".
That's what Scumbumbo's humorously titled mod wants to address here.
This allows you to manually tell your Sims which sinks are safe to wash and which ones should be left alone.
That way, his odd behavior won't pull you out of his dive, and you'll have fewer awkward bathroom encounters.
5.Don't prepare food where you're going to poop in anger.
Like the previous mod, Don't Prepare Food Where You Angry Poop allows you to manually set ovens and safe cooking surfaces throughout the house.
This will prevent your Sims from having a lot of awkward moments with their roommates, family members, and the occasional guest.
These may be simple mods, but they deserve to be at the top because they are so useful and important.
Would it really be that difficult for EA to take care of it in the base game?
4.AsteriaSims Food Texture Rework
One of the most coveted enhancements in The Sims 4 are those that make your game look more realistic...or just better.
A great way to achieve this when it comes to food is AsteriaSim's Food Textures Overhaul, a whole pack of attractive textures that will make your Sim's food look just as delicious as you would in real life.
This package is intricately detailed, as seen in the bowls with individually rendered grains of rice.
This fried chicken is also among the most realistic I've ever seen.
3.UtopiaSims Food Textures
Another excellent selection of improved textures that you definitely shouldn't install if you're watching your weight are the many food textures in UtopiaSims.
They are colorful, warm and look delicious.
Best of all, they do it without betting on a photorealistic look that forces you to change everything so that the food does not look out of place surrounded by the vanilla clay aesthetic.
2.Kitchen Makeover and Ingredients by GrayCurse
If you're not looking for a cosmetic upgrade, but rather a robust culinary addition to the game, then creator GrayCurse's cooking and ingredients overhaul is what you need.
This attractive mod makes cooking a more challenging and in-depth endeavor by adding a lot more ingredients.
You get things like cheese, flour, eggs, milk, and sugar. It also makes recipes more complex.
In this way, you must first get the ingredients for each dish.
However, don't worry about the added complexity that will leave your Sim hungry. You can get most of it by buying it from the fridge.
1.Srsly's Complete Kitchen Review
Similar to our previous entry, Srsly's Cooking Review is changing recipes to make them more complex thanks to more precise ingredient lists.
Just like in real life, your Sims are now constantly short of ingredients for their recipes.
To make up for this, Srsly is also allowing us to order them through the food delivery service covered above, which is a key part of this larger overhaul.
The ingredients come wrapped, which is elegant and attractive as a temporary decoration. It would be nice to have that in real life, right?
